About Vicinage
Verified local presence for high-stakes activity across Nigeria.
Why Vicinage exists
Nigeria rewards presence. Most high-value transactions — supplier contracts, property purchases, partnership agreements — hinge on information that only exists on the ground: whether a factory actually runs, whether a title document matches the physical boundaries, whether a contractor is making real progress.
For the diaspora Nigerian in Toronto managing a building project, the foreign businessman in Shenzhen sourcing from Nigeria, or the entrepreneur evaluating a supplier across state lines — that ground truth is hard to get reliably. WhatsApp updates are unstructured. Referrals are conflicted. Flying in costs money and time.
Vicinage exists to provide that verified ground truth systematically: trained inspectors, a documented methodology, geotagged evidence, and PM-certified reports. Not concierge. Not relationship management. Verifiable facts, delivered within a published SLA.
Geography
Vicinage operates across Nigeria. Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and other major commercial centres are covered, with inspector networks continuing to expand into additional states as demand grows.
Methodology
Every engagement follows a published, repeatable process. Inspectors operate from structured checklists. Reports follow a fixed template. Evidence is collected in a standardized way. The output is designed to be useful in a commercial dispute — not just informative.
